Profile - Paul Cox

 
Centre, Born 1981 (9th April) Swindon, joined in March 1999 as a Colt, promoted from the Colts for 2002/03. North Midlands Player

He started to play rugby at school when he was eight and joined Cirencester Rugby Club when he was fourteen. He was first brought up to Moseley by Peter Buxton (Moseley, Newport and Gloucester) from Cheltenham RFC to train and joined the club in March 1999 as a Colt. Since then he has played for the U21, Second XV and First XV, for whom he has played over ninety games. Paul also played for the Gloucestershire U18 and North Midlands’ U20 sides.

Before coming up to Birmingham in 2001, Paul worked as marquee erector for a Cheltenham company and then  for Moseley CEO David Warren’s company as a builder. Paul enjoys his sports coaching and is now well qualified (Rugby- Levels 1 & 2; Cricket- Level and Soccer- Level 1). Outside rugby Paul’s great interest, is soccer,  brought up to support Swindon Town,
