Prop -  born 1983 (11th Sep Dundee) - Scotland World cup prop joins Moseley on loan from Gloucester in January 2008. Joined Gloucester for 2007/8 from Edinburgh, a tremendous ball carrier and has been capped by Scotland at every level. Plays on the loose-head side of the scrum.

Alasdair was called up from Heriots to pro team, Edinburgh in 2003 and was part of the Scotland U21 side that beat their English counterparts for the first time at the 2003 World Cup.

He was called to join the Scotland squad in France in September 2007 as a replacement for his friend, Allan Jacobson and celebrated his 24th birthday in St Etienne. His first full cap quickly followed in a game he described as "the toughest of my life" against the All Blacks in Scotland's Pool C match at Murrayfield on the 23rd of September 2007. Has since been named in Scotland's RBS 6 Nations training squad.
