2ND/DEVELOPMENT XV |

Moseley's Development and 'A' teams have been highly successful over the years, topping the Midlands Merit Table for 2nd teams for many seasons. A typical side includes many players of first team experience along with the fast improving youngsters, all pressing their claims for inclusion in the First XV. Indeed the 2nd XV coaches' biggest problem, of the very best kind, is usually selection! Initial games will feature a "Development XV" of mostly younger players, against University and local teams, with Oxford and Birmingham Universities already signed up. More big names will be added as the programme develops. Last season saw many thoroughly enjoyable games for the spectators, played in excellent spirit. No doubt this season has many more excellent games in store.
