Selly Oak Rugby Club is
part of the community rugby project at Billesley which has been led by Moseley.
This has resulted in great new facilities being created and the funding for more
being secured , which Selly Oak look forward to being part of as they develop
over the coming seasons.
Selly Oak have full use of these facilities and, through even closer integration
with Moseley during the 2007 closed season, are pleased to report that the club
is taking great strides forward with Chris Shipway, our new player/coach, now in
place and a player feed between the two clubs formally established.
Training is on Monday & Wednesday at Billesley, 7p.m.It is good to welcome all the new faces to the club as well as welcoming back
the the regulars. If the first few sessions of 2007 are anything to go by, and with the
new enthusiasm around the club, we are looking forward to an exciting and
successful season. We would encourage any players, old or new, young or
old, beginner or experienced, to come and join us for both the rugby and the
social scene that Selly Oak prides itself on.
Moseley encourages players and former players who want to play rugby outside the
National Leagues to consider playing at Billesley for Selly Oak in Midlands 4
West (North).
