  MWRFC is a progressive, enthusiastic women's rugby team with mixed experience and abilities. The team are seen above celebrating winning promotion, unbeaten, from National Challenge 2 Midlands West ladies league, in April 2008. (click image to open full size - Photo Birmingham Mail - Pic 2)

Who can join? - Any female over the age of seventeen can play. Girls up to the age of eleven play in the Club’s Mini & Junior Section (see "M&J" on this website).

 

Why not try a taster session or come and support us at one of our matches on Sunday afternoons throughout the season – September to April (see link above for fixtures) or a social event? 

Training -Training is on Thursday evenings 7-9pm at the Club’s ground at Billesley Common, Birmingham (see “How to Find Us”) - 7pm meet outside the clubhouse ready to kick off at 7.15.

We are recruiting! newcomers will be made very welcome. This a great time to come along and get to know the team and start.

Future Social Events ( A really great way to come and meet us!).

Moseley ladies are planning a MWRFC are celebrating Christmas with a night out to Pad Thai restaurant, Holloway head on 6th December. Remember to wear something sparkly and be prepared to join in with the karaoke fun.  This is a great way for new and potential players to come and join us and get to know us. Race Night -  MWRFC host another Race Night, Friday 13th Feb 2009, 7.30pm in the clubhouse. After the success of previous race nights, MWRFC warmly invite EVERYONE associated with the club to join in the fun. Try and get together a group from your section of the club – it will be another GREAT night! With bets from as little as a few pence, food and a glass or two…….. a great night out for all!
