England Academy Player dual registered to play for
both Gloucester and Moseley.
Former Cirencester Colt and England U18 player (Travelled to
Australia in August 2007 for U18 tour) played during England’s U18 Six Nations
games where they defeated France, Ireland and Scotland. Also selected to
represent Gloucester A in 2007/8. First start for Glos in the top of the
table clash with London Irish in 2009, a performance praised by coach Dean
Ryan.. Scored in both opening games of the 2009 RBS Under-20 6 Nations
against Italy and Wales. A key figure as England U20s reached the final of
the World Junior championships in Japan in 2009. Included in the Birmingham Post's Midlands Select XV for the 2008/09 season. An essential part of the Twickenham Cup winning team. As Brian Dick said in the Birmingham Post's Twickenham preview "his ascendant star is merely orbiting Moseley for a short while - of that there is no doubt. Even so Moseley should consider themselves fortunate because there is something magical about the youngster. He had (then) only played ten times for the club, due to commitments with his Kingsholm paymasters and England Under 20s, but he had scored ten tries."
