New Stand & Clubhouse Opening a Great Success
On Saturday, as well as maintaining Championship status, the club enjoyed its most momentous event since moving to Billesley Common, with the opening of the new stand and clubhouse complex.
As the first functiion to be staged in the clubhouse fittingly the Moseley Players Association held their annual lunch with many of the clubs most famous players in attendance.
Championship Status Secured!
Congratulations to the 1st XV who secured their Championship position for next season with a comprehensive 29-0 victory over Plymouth Albion. The result proved the perfect way to celebrate the opening of the new stand and clubhouse facility.
On top of this our U17s progressed to the National Shield Finals by beating Sandal 18-10 to cap an excellent weekend.
Chris Brightwell voted Supporters Player of the Season
Congratulations to Chris Brightwell who has been voted Supporters Player of the Season for 2014/15. Chris
was presented with the Lionel Moriaty Golden boot award after the game by the Moseley Supporters
The MSA also made a special award of tankards to Neil Mason, Adam Caves & Ollie Thomas in recognition of their long playing service to the club.

Moseley Hailed as Fantastic Hosts
On Sunday 12th April the club had the honour of hosting the England Deaf v Wales Deaf International.
Unfortunatly for England they Lost (8-20) but the day proved to be extreamly enjoyable with both sides contributing to a very entertaining match.
England Deaf head coach Sean Fletcher said after the game
“Moseley has been fantastic. This is where we want to be for our games, they have been fantastic hosts”
....and we would be very happy to see you back again soon Sean.
Webb Ellis Trophy to visit Billesley Common
The club are pleased to confirm that as part of its tour prior to the commencement of the 2015 World Cup the Webb Ellis Trophy will be visiting Billesley Common on Sunday 19th July from 13:00 – 15:30
To recognise this important event we are planning a series of activities around the visit and will update you on the plans in the coming weeks.

Congratulations to Moseley Colts on a double
Our Under 19s were crowned North Midlands League Champions by beating Wolverhampton 19-17 in the playoffs while the Under 17s lifted the Midlands Shield with a 17-3 win over Derby

RFU & Greene King IPA Championship Clubs agree new five year
The Rugby Football Union (RFU) and the Greene King IPA Championship Clubs have today announced a new five year agreement which will see an uplift in central funding, further strengthening the partnership between the two parties for the continued growth of the second tier.

Colts win league
Congratulations to the U19s who have won the North Midlands Colts League Saturday Division.
The colts have also been invited to participate in Bedford's inaugral U19 Tens tournament
showcase the player development work being carried out by a number of Championship Clubs)
on April 26th along with
Academy sides from Championship clubs Bedford, London Scottish, Moseley, Nottingham and Worcester Warriors as well as Ealing Trailfinders, Cambridge University and the East Midlands Rugby Union.
This Friday they will be playing the University of Birmingham Freshers’ XV under lights (7.00pm) at our old stomping ground, Bournbrook. Why not pop along and give them some support.

Moseley Rugby Academy – commencing September 2015!
Moseley Rugby Club are delighted to announce the opening of the first and only full-time rugby academy in Birmingham, which will commence this September. The programme is aimed at developing elite young sportsmen for a career in sport, by studying for academic qualifications and playing in a professional sporting environment.

Moseley's Sam Olver named November Player of the Month
Congratulations to Sam who has been named the Greene King IPA Championship Player of the Month for November.
Sam edged the title over Rotherham Titan's Joel Gill, who came a close second. Tom Kessell of Cornish Pirates came in 3rd, with nearly 2,000 votes cast in total.

IMPORTANT - PLEASE NOTE
Parking restrictions due to the building of the new stand
The driveway and area in front of the clubhouse is now restricted by the excavation work and the recent bad weather has exacerbated the difficulties. We therefore have implemented a strict parking and access policy to prevent an accident.
As of now there will be no car access beyond the main car park.
