The match of the day went the way of Moseley who made it four wins out of four and Waterloo went down to their first defeat of the season although they did pick up two bonus points.
The home side were first on the scoreboard when wing Neil Kerfoot went in for a try in the 20th minute and Neil Hunter added the conversion. Ollie Thomas then kicked three penalties in a five minute spell to put Moseley 9-7 ahead after 29 minutes. Hunter added a penalty goal and then converted a 39th minute try from centre Freeman Payne. In first half injury time the visitors were awarded a penalty try and Thomas converted and they went in a point down 17-16.
In the second period centre Cox put Moseley ahead on 46 minutes and a double form winger Nathan Bressington saw the visitors go into a commanding 37-17 lead with Thomas converting them all.
The home side did manage to score two late tries and get within six points and claim the four try bonus point as Kerfoot completed a double and second row David Blyth went in for tries.
