Rotherham swept away at Billesley
Challenged to overturn a heavy defeat at Rotherham last autumn, Moseley
exceeded all expectations with a six try bonanza, made all the more
exceptional by allowing the visitors a three try lead in the first
Once the tide turned Rotherham were not allowed a single further point
and the game finished with a 43 - 21 win for Moseley. Tries for Rodwell
(2), Norton, Adams, Mason, all followed a penalty try on 21 mins. Five
conversions and a penalty, kicked by fly-half Tristan Roberts, made up
the unanswered total of 43 points in the last 60 minutes. Norton's
(pictured) try was his first league try of the season after returning
from injury and scoring in the cup last week. Moseley move ahead of
Rotherham and Coventry in the league to ninth place, and have trips to
Nottingham and Bridgwater before another vital game against 6th placed
Plymouth on Valentines Day.
