About the Moseley Oak Club

Moseley Oak RFC is one of the top amateur rugby clubs in Birmingham. Moseley Oak moved to Billesley Common in 2004 with Moseley RFC and share the first class facilities at the rapidly developing site. Drawing players from the city center and the Greater Birmingham area, the club holds it's traditional roots in Selly oak. Playing in the Midlands 3 League (RFU Level 8) the club often provides the main Saturday afternoon fixture at Billesley when the Moseley 1st XV are away.
Moseley Oak provides a safe and friendly environment for anyone looking to play social rugby in Birmingham. A strong off-field social scene is indicative of the growing popularity of rugby as a place people from all ages can come and enjoy the game without necessarily playing a game of rugby.
In addition to attracting players through our traditional roots, Moseley Oak now operates closely with Moseley Rugby Club to provide an outlet to those who are moving up from Moseley’s excellent youth system to play adult rugby and opportunities for those retiring from the professional game. The appointment of one of the best coaches around, John White, only re-enforces this dedication. John has been in rugby for almost 50 years, playing for and captaining Moseley before going onto coach the 1st Xv as well as spending time at Coventry and Birmingham & Solihull.

Our aim is to ensure that all who are involved with the club have an enjoyable time joining with friends new and old, whilst training, playing and socialising.  If you fancy playing or just want to watch please find us at or alternatively the details below will tell you who to contact and how to go about joining our club.
