Membership Benefits

A summary of the benefits of membership

  • The MPA provides a means for keeping in touch and renewing friendships from your playing days

  • At the Annual Reunion Lunch, former team-mates have the chance to get together in a convivial rugby environment

  • By being a member, we are often able to help re-establish old friendships by passing on contact information

  • We have a hospitality box for the use of the MPA at home matches where former colleagues can meet

  • As a result of the above points, new friendships are frequently created with other members from different playing eras

  • We provide a route for getting up-to-date news on the activities of the club and former players

  • We organise other social events at the club (e.g. Autumn Supper, Burns Supper) where members can get together

  • The MPA has its own tie, for sale at a modest price. A few of the iconic 25th Anniversary ties are also still available

  • The MPA has a section on the Club website,, with sub sections for news, photographs, the Moseley Mole (news & gossip of members) and obituaries; also a section on the website message board

  • We also have our own LinkedIn group, administered by Jeremy Summers

  • The MPA has its own news sections in the club’s electronic newsletter ’Moseley Matters’ and in match programmes

  • We administer the 300 Club Draw for the financial support and development of rugby at the club

  • We administer the David Cathcart Memorial Fund, providing grants for disadvantaged Youth Section players

  • Any surpluses from membership fees and organised events are ploughed back into the club for the development of rugby. The recent grant of £500 each from the 300 Club and the MPA to support the Moseley Women’s team is a good example

  • At only £25.00 for Life Membership, the MPA provides the opportunity to maintain life-long links with both the club and playing colleagues at minimal cost
