Bedford Blues 17 Moseley 15

Moseley’s cruel sequence continued when Bedford snatched victory in the last minute. It was the fifth time this season that top-half teams have overturned a Moseley lead with a late score.
On a foggy, Friday night, Moseley dominated early possession and led 8-0 at the interval through prop Nathan Williams’ try and a penalty from Ollie Thomas. Bedford upped the pace in the second half and took the lead through a converted try and a penalty.
However, when Moseley winger Nathan Bressington picked up a stray clearance and evaded a tackler to score a converted try, it looked as if his team were set for victory against the fifth-placed team. Moseley’s committed tackling had constantly thwarted Bedford, but with a minute to go concerted Bedford pressure led to a try, with an easy conversion denying poor Mose even a draw.
Next Saturday Moseley should be confident of winning at home to bottom-placed Manchester who have lost every game.
